My wife, Vicki, and I started our hosting journey in 2018. As empty nesters with a backyard guest house, we quickly discovered a passion for hospitality that grew into our family business, Stay Awhile in Texas.
When we aren't managing our properties, some of our favorite shared pastimes include grilling out at home, exploring new restaurants, and traveling. We truly thrive on providing exceptional, 5-star hospitality. Our goal is to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure every guest has a memorable stay. We aim to exceed your expectations of both San Antonio and our properties, creating an experience that leaves you excited to return!
We also hope you love dogs as much as we do! Keep an eye out for our sweet rescue girl, Rosie. She is usually hanging out right by my side and loves to greet our guests when invited.

As the driving force behind Stay Awhile in Texas, I dedicate most of my time to managing our properties and curating exceptional hospitality experiences for our guests. Outside of work, I enjoy landscaping, teaching myself guitar, and cheering on Texas Aggie football and baseball. I'm affectionately known as the resident "coffee snob"—so if you ever need the inside scoop on the best local beans or a perfectly brewed cup, just ask! I'm also a craft beer enthusiast and am always happy to share my top recommendations for a great pint.
